Eligibility Criteria for DOL

The candidate must have passed the Intermediate (+2) or equivalent Examination from Madrasa Education Board or any recognised Board/Council, Candidate who are deputed by the Government, Public and Corporate Bodies may apply for admission provided they fulfil the eligibility.

DOL Course Details

Diploma in Oriental Librarianship is a specialized program designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills required for managing libraries and archives of Oriental literature. To train the special knowledge of oriental librarianship and to develop skills for understanding application of Modern Library Technology. Further to equip students with understanding of the best practices in oriental libraries. In this program, students learn about the principles of librarianship, cataloging and classification, preservation and conservation of books and manuscripts, and digital archiving.
